It’s no secret that Louis Vuitton has some of the best bags around. We cover Louis Vuitton bags so typically here at PurseBlog because not only do we love writing about them, but you people seem to love seeing them and reading about them as well! I myself went through a major Louis obsession, and I can remember dreaming about owning a quick bag for as long as I knew of its existence. Recently, I found a binder full of collages I used to make from fashion magazines that I would beg my mother to get me at the drugstore. It was way back in middle school that I would spend hours cutting and gluing pictures of purses, shoes and designer clothes onto cardstock. sure enough, I had a page cut out with my dream items and there on hot pink paper was a clipping of the Louis Vuitton quick…

For some reason, I have yet to be able to find a Zac Posen handbag that I genuinely love. Posen has been a fashion wunderkind and It-Designer for several years now (probably so long that it means he’s probably no longer either a wunderkind OR an It-Designer), and I’ve liked his Ready-to-Wear collections in varying degrees since he showed up on my radar. What I’m not quite vibing, though, are his bags. He seems to try and incorporate some of his signature clothing techniques into his accessories, and someone may want to let him know that the two categories are not the same and require different design flourishes. Take the Zac Posen Belyn Hobo, for example. I really like the python stripe down the middle; python and other exotics should be used in trim more often. What doesn’t entirely work, however, is the draping at the sides. instead of looking…

A few weeks ago, I started to notice bags with hearts on them popping up here and there. At first, I assumed it was something of a timely gimmick; after all, Valentine’s Day is Saturday and some designers just can’t resist a theme, especially if it’s based on a holiday in which gifts are typically given. That number has grown so much in the intervening weeks that heart-embellished bags no longer feel like quick-and-dirty V-Day bait. Instead, they seem to be an actual trend, and not a small one. It took a shockingly short amount of time to find the 20 bags you see below, all of which feature hearts in some level of prominence as a design motif. several are shaped like hearts, while others take a more subtle approach, and the bags come at a substantial variety of price points and from designers that usually have very disparate…

This woman you don’t see much of other than on 11 pm re-runs of will as well as Grace– it is the lovely Debra Messing! now I am a significant fan of the show- just like it. I like Jack as well as will rather a bit more than Grace. I believe Karen’s voice might drive anyone insane however she makes up for it in humor. just like it. Grace, Debra Messing, was just recently at Michael Kors with Michael himself showing off rather the lovely clutch. I like it! I’m a sucker for huge clutches as well as this is rather a beauty. Debra is embracing the professional photographer however Michael seems to be staring off into space. earth to Michael- the camera is over here! Oh yea- if you can’t tell by the enormously obscuring atrocious watermark- this photo sure was taken by the UK Press. I can’t…

A few weeks ago, I announced I would never buy a full-price Chanel bag again. around the same time, I came across this gorgeous Chanel Caviar Quilted Jumbo single Flap in Black listed on Fashionphile. The bag was deemed in ‘Very Good’ condition, and included the original dust bag, authenticity card, and box. I took a chance and ordered it on a whim. (Fashionphile offers a return policy and a six-month buy-back program, so I knew purchasing the bag wasn’t a serious risk.) To say I’m pleased with this perfect pre-loved pick is an understatement. Here’s everything you need to know. Aesthetics Let’s start with the obvious: This is a Chanel bag, after all, which means many of the desired attributes associated with the brand are very much present in this specific bag – even though it’s approaching its 10th birthday. Luckily, the style and look of Chanel classic Flaps…

As I have discovered out with age, many guy really prefer women without makeup on. Yea, that’s no lie. however to most of us women, it is part of our everyday routine. I keep in mind my cycle with makeup. It began around 6th grade with a lip gloss obsession. I’m speaking juicy lips that most likely drawn in flies like a sticky pad. I moved on in 7th grade to some eye shadow. however it was barely noticeable. around 8th grade, things went terribly downhill with my believed that dark makeup made me look older. Yet with time as well as experience, I discovered exactly how to apply makeup as well as not look like a 5 cent hooker. however where to keep all the makeup? Why not in a fun Kate Spade Heddy little floral print cosmetic Bag? Made with the fun color wheel of green, pink, chocolate,…

As high-end handbags go, backpacks need to be tough to design. As a shape, everyone has carried a backpack, but a lot of people only have experience with them as affordable book-schleppers from their school daze. That indicates that designers have to lean really hard into a juvenile reference or steer entirely clear of it in buy to be successful, and I think we know which way the Christian Louboutin Valou backpack has gone. The Row launched the bag that started the whole trend by taking a modern, minimalist, very high-end technique to the shape, which helped it shed some of its youthful associations and flourish as a luxury status bag. Christian Louboutin, with his cheeky brand image and sense of fun, has instead chosen to make the most expensive backpack a kindergartner will ever put on her Christmas list. Creamy white leather is framed by red trim, including straps…

forget everything I said recently about how bad things come in threes and that indicates that there would soon be another bad Valentino bag for me to snark on soon. I have never been a lot more utterly and profoundly wrong on this blog before, at least not that I can remember, because I can’t help but drool all over the Valentino Kaleidscope stone Tote. who needs a man – I love this bag so much that I would gladly cuddle with it at night instead. I fully realize that some of you may look at this thing and think that this is undoubtedly the completion of the trio of bad Valentino purses that I had foretold, but hear me out on this. If all of the sewn-on rhinestones were the same color or the same shape, then I’d be ready to dismiss it a tacky and cheap-looking. but the…
