As a lot of of you know, PurseBlog is based in new York City, and we wanted to give you a closer look into some of our favorite spots to eat in the big Apple. For PurseBlog Eats, we’ll be featuring lots of delicious food, and of course we’ll have some of our favorite bags in tow.

First up, we headed to one of the cutest corners in all of West village to dine at Rosemary’s Enoteca & Trattoria. The restaurant has a rustic Italian farmhouse decor, with plenty of wooden tables (many communal), big glass windows and a spacious bar. besides looking beautiful year-round with twinkle lights that hang from the beamed ceiling, Rosemary’s looks especially captivating during the holidays, decorated with gigantic wreaths and Christmas trees throughout. Rosemary’s even has a Christmas tree in its rooftop garden, where the restaurant pulls some of its veggies during the warmer months.

Price Point: Appetizers from $10 to $13, Pastas from $12 to $14 and bigger main plates from $16 to $24.

What We Ordered: Assorted Meat (Prosciutto, Soppressata, Coppa Cotta), Assorted Cheese Plate (Ricotta di Pecora, Pecorino Toscano, Gorgonzola Dolce), Radicchio Salad, Orecchiette Pasta and Skirt Steak

The need to Try: Rosemary’s Focaccia Bread, Orecchiette with braised greens and homemade sausage – the pasta is hand-rolled and perfectly cooked. By far one of the best dishes on the menu.
